In the summer of 2011, Scarborough Arts continued the Borough Most Thorough program with a new format. This time, they would interview and screen entries, and successful participants would become part of the Phase 2 Collective. Ta!ent was one of them.

Lead by program co-ordinator, Jen Fabico, and mentor, Dan-E-O, throughout the summer all the artists came together every week to work on music and learn more about the creation process, as well as the music industry.

The entire project was recorded in 10 straight hours at Phase One Studios. Once the project was in full swing, the entire collective could tell they had moved beyond their namesake, and had become the Phase 2 familia!

After mastering at Secret Suburbia Studios, the "Devastating" EP was officially released on Sat. August 27th, at the Subtext Multi-Arts Festival. The Phase 2 Collective performed the entire EP to an enthusiastic crowd, and it was well received. Free copies were handed out, CDs were signed, and more are still available, to accompany this FREE digital download!

The Phase 2 Collective plans to perform together in the future, including songs from the "Devastating" EP, and future collaborations!
