Ta!ent feat. Haafizah - Let 'Em In feat, Haafizah [Prod. Ta!ent]

about

This track's evolution started in April 2009. Ta!ent overheard a song on the radio at a restaurant, and immediately asked for its name. He wrote it down and found it when he went home; then proceeded to use it as a sample for his next beat.

Soon the song became something bigger, as he started to reminisce on many of life's instances where we all want something, but will never get it. We want lost souls to return, friends to come back, loves to be found again, and lost opportunities to knock once more. This song is about falling short, and our aspirations in life, relative to how we can't always attain them.

A piano and bass driven beat, with vocal accents by Paul McCartney, with an ironically upbeat yet down trodden feel to add to Haafizah's airy contribution on the chorus.

about

Ta!ent Toronto, Ontario

I'm an MC/producer hailing from Toronto, ON, Canada. I keep things fresh and always need to be innovating when I get on the mic or the boards.

This music. Its me. Whether I made a beat, or I laced a verse on a track, every note and rhyme carries an element of myself. I'm constantly growing, changing, and improving whenever I can. Making music that bangs, touches, and sways. Enjoy
